Male Skeleton Yields Few Clues ; Remains Found North of N.J. State Border

GREENWOOD LAKE, N.Y. A male skeleton was found in the woods about six miles north of the New Jersey state border, police said.

A local resident riding an all-terrain vehicle discovered the skeleton Thursday evening, about 50 yards south of Route 17A, New York State Police Senior Investigator John Van Der Molen said Saturday. The skeletal remains had been in the woods for at least a month.
