FLORHAM PARK - If Dwight Lowery felt the pressure of proving himself over the past few weeks, he didn't show it. Perhaps that's because he only had to look at the name scratched on the hand of his game gloves to be reminded of what pressure really is.

Lowery, the second-year Jets' cornerback who took over for injured starter Lito Sheppard, proved he could handle a front-line job on the defense. In the words of fellow cornerback and Pro Bowler Darrelle Revis, "Dwight Lowery can start on any NFL team. He's a player. We know that and the coaches know that."
