"Ticket Protector" is a "lite" version of trip-cancellation and trip-interruption insurance (TCI) focused on non-refundable air tickets. Currently, Access America is selling it through three major airlines - American, Continental and Northwest - with more lines likely to sign on in coming weeks. It's a low-cost, low-coverage product aimed at travelers whose main financial risk is the cost of a non-refundable ticket. It could appealto many travelers.
