Summary
The avalanche of baseball goodies hasn't ceased for the fan who caught, and returned, Derek Jeter's 3,000th hit to the captain on Saturday at Yankee Stadium. Now, Christian Lopez will be featured on his own baseball card issued by Topps, to be included in sets later this year.
Topps vice president Mark Sapir told the Associated Press that company employees were impressed by Lopez's selfless act, snagging the prized home run ball in the left field seats and giving it to Jeter instead of selling it. Lopez, 23, will also get to choose the image for Topps' 2012 Jeter card.See the full content of this document
