Leonia Police, Civilians Checked for Gas Exposure

Summary


LEONIA - Five police officers and civilians were taken to a hospital Tuesday night after carbon monoxide fumes filled their headquarters, a fire official said.

They were being checked out at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, Fire Chief Steve Oxnard said. Oxnard did not have the breakdown of how many of the five victims were officers and how many were civilians.
