GLEN ROCK -- Jim Kurz has been named head football coach at Glen Rock, replacing the legendary Al Deaett, who retired at the end of last season after 23 years at the helm.

Kurz, 30, a former Glen Rock star, served as an assistant coach under Deaett for the past seven seasons. He is moving up to the head position after being the offensive coordinator of the Panthers.
