RUTHERFORD - The school district will place 15 preschool special education students in one of its own elementary schools by next school year, instead of busing them to other districts.

This will save the district approximately $50,000 to $100,000 by cutting costs on transportation and tuition, and make more efficient use of a district-owned school, Schools Superintendent Leslie Conlon said.
