DENVER - Kenyon Martin wanted the money, but he also wanted to feel loved by the Nets. After getting neither, he left for Denver.
Martin revealed Sunday night that he would have accepted a six- year maximum offer from the Nets had they approached him with one July 1. As the days went by and still no such offer came his way, Martin pushed his agent to get him a deal.
