FLORHAM PARK -- When featured back Thomas Jones was stuffed three straight times with a first-and-goal at the New England 3 on Sept. 14, it was the defining moment of the Jets' stumbling 1-2 start.
But almost two months later, the Jets believe they are not the same team that lost to the Patriots for the 11th time in 12 tries that day.
