About 150 Circassians in North Jersey plan to participate in a demonstration today in New York City to mark the 147th anniversary of the genocide of their ancestors in czarist Russia.
Members of the Circassian Cultural Institute in Totowa are organizing residents from the region to participate in the demonstration on a day of coordinated protests around the world. Demonstrations are also planned in Jordan, Turkey, Israel and Germany, said Dana Wojokh of Little Falls, one of the organizers of the demonstration.See the full content of this document
