PATERSON Students looking for extra tutoring with schoolwork now can find it online.

A new tutoring program called Homework Help NJ started last fall and is available through the Internet to students with public library cards. The program is supported by the New Jersey State Library and Public Service Electric and Gas. Co., which provided a one-year $265,000 grant to bring the tutoring service to seven public libraries, in Paterson, Camden, Newark, New Brunswick, Jersey City, Elizabeth and Willingboro.
