ELMWOOD PARK Parents, teachers and staff members at a beloved preschool say they are devastated after learning this week that their decades-old community institution is on the verge of closing.
The Beth-Am Nursery School has cared for children from infants to kindergartners in the basement of the Elmwood Park Jewish Center on Gilbert Avenue for 33 years.
