Relief pitcher Tommy Jansen had just allowed a two-run homer to Ethan Kisch to give North Hunterdon a 9-0 lead. Hillsdale manager Lou Pimpinella walked to the mound and moments later Jansen was smiling, not the reaction you'd expect from a 12-year-old who had just given up a long ball.
