* Glen Cannici of Queen of Peace expects to have the cast removed from his right arm in about two weeks and hopes to be ready to wrestle when the district tournaments begin Feb. 20. "I've been able to lift and run and do some shadow wrestling," the senior said Sunday at Brick Memorial, where he went to watch teammate Frank Cagnina defeat returning State champion Vinny DellaFave of Toms River East in the New Jersey All-Star Wrestling Classic. The top seed in the state at 135 last year and a State contender at 145 this season, Cannici hasn't wrestled since breaking his arm in the semifinals of the BCCA George Jockish Holiday tournament in December.

* Tenafly coach Jim Sutera earned his 200th career victory when the Tigers rallied from a 19-0 deficit to defeat Cliffside Park, 43- 25, on Wednesday. Sutera, a Saddle Brook graduate, credits Mario Alia, the longtime athletic director who started the wrestling program at Saddle Brook, as being one of his major coaching inspirations.
