HALEDON -- Marc Battle, the first African-American to serve on the Borough Council, resigned the post this week, citing time constraints brought on by a new job.
Battle, an attorney, said he recently took a new job as legal counsel for Pepco Holdings Inc., a utility company. The new job requires that he travel frequently to Washington, and he can no longer commit the time to serve on the borough council.See the full content of this document
