New Jersey is developing a curriculum focused on the events of Sept. 11, 2001 -- including general lessons on terrorism -- that will be taught to children as young as kindergarten.

The state Department of Education has enlisted groups of educators, such as those on the state's Holocaust Commission and at the Liberty Science Center, to devise resource guides and lesson plans for Grades K-12.
