A North Carolina company on Tuesday teed up its $1.1 billion project to transform the Meadowlands garbage dumps into a golf haven.
Officials from EnCap Golf Holdings Inc. said that within the next few days they will start laying the groundwork to entomb more than 700 acres of garbage and ultimately build two public golf courses, nearly 2,000 housing units, a village of shops and restaurants, a 750-room hotel, and 750,000 square feet of office space.See the full content of this document
