IN AN IDEAL world, James Yee would be working for the government. That's what he wants. He'd be pursuing a career as liaison between the Muslim world and the Americans who love Arab oil but hate Arab extremists especially since 9/11.

But in the real world, Yee is still waiting for an apology from the government and the military for his 76-day ordeal of incarceration, and worse, for sullying his good name with unproven accusations of espionage and treason.
