Ferriero Jurors Reach Six Verdicts

Summary


A jury concluded its second day of deliberations Wednesday in the federal corruption trial of former Bergen County Democratic Chairman Joseph A. Ferriero after reporting it reached verdicts on six of the eight counts and deadlocked on the remaining charges.

Whether they voted to acquit or convict on the counts they've decided was left unanswered when U.S. District Judge Stanley R. Chesler dismissed the panel at 4 p.m. Chesler instructed the jurors to get a good night's rest so they can return fresh to continue deliberations this morning.
