William McGovern Jr. and his brother Harold, along with Steve Roseman, started a general-practice law firm in Newton in 1960. They settled into a corner office building on Spring Street, just a pleasant walk from the Sussex County Courthouse.
McGovern's son, William III, recalls that the office "was often filled with farmers. That is, men and women, husbands and wives - the farmer teams. Just about everything under the sun came into that office."See the full content of this document
