EAST RUTHERFORD -- They face a fragile economy, a gloomy job market and a global financial meltdown that may be only now beginning to relent.

But 3,000 graduates of Fairleigh Dickinson University put those worries aside Tuesday, if only for a day, to celebrate their educational accomplishments and look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead, at the school's 67th commencement.
