ENGLEWOOD -- It has been 42 years since Howard "Hank" Allen coached basketball, but his players never forgot the impression he made on them.

Allen, a 1938 graduate of Dwight Morrow High School and star forward who made the all-state team his senior year, was recently honored by having the gymnasium at Langston High School in Danville, Va., named after him.
