DUMONT - Dumont girls volleyball coach Bill Newsome may have sweated through a few points, but when Friday's match was over he had achieved a milestone.

Newsome earned his 400th win when the Huskies completed a 25-23, 25-17 victory over visiting Ridgefield Park. The win improved Dumont's record to 9-0 this season. Melissa Klarer led Dumont with three kills and Jessica Kirsch had six assists. Danielle McCartan led the defensive effort with four digs.
