EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP Friday night when many of Hawthorne's seniors were heading to the prom, Ajda Dotday chose to follow another dream, a Group 2 State championship. And the Monmouth-bound star blistered the field with a 12.20, easily winning the 100 meters title.
Saturday, while her classmates were sleeping late or heading to the Shore where they'd be hit with a series of thunderstorms Dotday was back at the track at Egg Harbor Township High School winning a second State title. This one came in the 200, where she ran a 25.51 to hold off Amirah Muneer of Ewing and becoming the first Bears athlete to win more than one State group title.See the full content of this document
