The trial of two Passaic police officers accused of beating a handcuffed suspect has been delayed until next week because a witness on Wednesday won the right to invoke his Fifth Amendment privileges.

Whether Carlos F. Bonilla, a retired Passaic police officer, will take the stand in the case against Officers Arthur Moran and Marc Kovar is up to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.
