Willowbrook Mall merchants were glad to be back in business Thursday afternoon, sad about the 3 1/2 days of lost business, and philosophical about the fact that there are some things -- such as Mother Nature and floodwaters -- you just can't control.

"What are you going to do? Every year there's something -- a snowstorm, flooding -- you just have to deal with it," said Sol Emanuel, owner of the Kodak Digital Center photo store and art and frame center.
