A Boy Scout was bitten and scraped and another narrowly escaped injury last Saturday during an encounter with three black bears at a camp site in Blairstown, a state report released Friday says.
The Somerset boy's wounds to his arm and hand were caused by a bear cub and were considered superficial. He did not require hospitalization after the hourlong ordeal at the Yards Creek Scout reservation.See the full content of this document
