PASSAIC - Maria Vargas can count on one thing when she arrives to work at the Salvation Army thrift store in the morning: Donations will be ruined.
For the past three weeks, ransacking of bins at the Broadway store has gotten increasingly worse, Vargas said. With no video cameras and a parking lot that is kept open after hours, people have been helping themselves to the Salvation Army's donations.
