A former drug abuse counselor who received a seven-year sentence Thursday for filing more than $900,000 in fake Medicaid claims said the deception became an addiction like the ones he had once treated.
Bennie Martin, 39, pleaded guilty last month in state Superior Court in Paterson to two counts of health care claims fraud, and one count each of Medicaid claims fraud and misconduct by a corporate official.See the full content of this document
