LITTLE FALLS - A counselor running a Christian-based residential treatment facility was charged Wednesday with sexually assaulting a Wayne woman under his care, the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office said.

Gene Swindle, 40, was arrested at 102 Island Ave. at 2 a.m. after the woman, 24, went to police Tuesday, Chief Assistant Prosecutor Joe Del Russo said.
