Cosmo DiFiore, an award-winning advertising and editorial specialist who worked for The Record almost 30 years, died Friday.

Mr. DiFiore, 66, was recalled by fellow employees as that can-do guy with a smile. He was the recipient of numerous awards from the New Jersey Press Association. In 2005, he swept all three awards in the Special Section category after winning first and second place in 2002, 2003 and 2004. He was honored in 1997 and 2001 as well.
