Corzine Signs Bills On Ethics Reform ; One Measure Bans Dual Office-Holding

Come Feb. 1, it will be illegal to hold more than one elected office at a time in New Jersey except for legislators already in that position who voted to exempt themselves.

Governor Corzine signed the measure into law Tuesday, part of a package of ethics reform measures. More than a dozen current dual office-holders will be excused from the ban.
