Waldwickbased medical device maker Life Recovery Systems HD LLC said its cooling system will be used in a clinical study on the impact of quickly cooling traumatic brain injury patients.
The company said the Food and Drug Administration has cleared the product known as the ThermoSuit System to be tested by the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston as part of a 240-patient study on cooling brain-injury victims.
