A New York businessman was sentenced Wednesday to 15 years in prison for killing a Bergenfield auto shop owner in what had become a 15-year-old "cold case."

Joseph DeStefano, who admitted in April that he shot and beat Thomas Fauria to death during a heated argument at the shop, told the judge he was "sorry for everything that happened."
