A Cliffside Park lawyer admitted Monday that he lied to FBI agents when he denied making "corrupt" payments to a Union City zoning board member including buying a $3,400 dog for the board member's girlfriend to get favorable action on building projects.
Jose A. Izquierdo, 52, who is also the owner of JAI Architects of West New York, pleaded guilty to a single count of making false and misleading statements to agents who were investigating whether he had bribed local officials in Hudson County.See the full content of this document
