WAYNE The Township Council has adopted zoning revisions that tie a house's size to that of its lot, effectively preventing further construction of outsized "McMansions" on small properties.
The council adopted the new ordinance Wednesday, 8-0. It sets a floor-area ratio (FAR) index based on square footage. In addition, it caps the percent of impervious surfaces house, garage, pool and patio on any residential property at 40 percent.See the full content of this document
