It's not surprising why Governor Christie has made Supreme Court Justice Barry Albin his latest public punching bag.

Albin is a Democratic appointee of the dreaded Democratic former Gov. Jim McGreevey. He has lifetime tenure, which means he has ironclad job security until 2022 when he reaches the mandatory retirement age of 70. And Albin recently had the temerity to cast doubt -- in open court, God forbid -- on the Christie administration's rationale for slashing up to $1.7 billion in aid for public schools last year.
