WAYNE -- Wayne PBA Local 136 has announced Sunday as the new date for the second Thomas Deppa Memorial Motorcycle Ride in memory of the police sergeant who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Deppa, a member of the Police Department for 31 years and a Vietnam veteran, died two years ago after losing a battle with cancer. Members of the police union organized the fund-raising ride in his honor and to ensure Deppa's name will continue to be associated with helping others, said Robert Simpson, PBA president and a township detective.See the full content of this document
