Switching positions in the middle of the season can sometimes affect a team badly. But the net results have had a mostly positive effect for the Passaic Valley baseball team.

The Hornets, who have made changes in their two starting corner infielders, also will have another key lineup decision today when Jim San George becomes eligible to play. A transfer from Dayton Regional in Springfield, San George had to sit out the first 30 days of the season because of the NJSIAA transfer rule.
