WE NEED more clean cars in New Jersey - cars that get better mileage and have lower emissions - so we can all breathe easier. And the best way to do that is for the Legislature to pass the so- called Clean Cars Act.
Auto industry allies have tried their best to stop this legislation in Trenton, which would require sales of cleaner cars in New Jersey. It is modeled on California's strict emission standards.
