Carlstadt Shifting to Letter Grades for Middle School

Summary


CARLSTADT - Middle school students will receive numerical grades this year rather than alphabet grades, which educators feel will more accurately reflect classroom achievement.

The new grading system takes effect this year after months of discussion by parents, teachers and school officials about how district students were being ranked with other North Jersey students once they reach high school or apply to another school.
