The Boy Wizard Is Growing Up, to Sighs of Delight and Dismay

More than 3,000 screaming girls greeted Radcliffe at the Tokyo airport last month. A similar scene erupted last weekend at the movie's New York debut.

"These girls are so young that they have such high-pitched screams," says co-star Robbie Coltrane, who plays Hagrid. "It sounds like the noises women make in Africa at funerals."
