About half of the college football teams playing in postseason bowls had graduation rates under 50 percent last season, according to a survey by the University of Central Florida.
Among the 27 of the 56 schools that fall below the 50 percent graduation rate is Texas, which plays Southern California for the national title in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 4, and Rutgers, which will make its first bowl appearance in 27 years when it plays Arizona State in the Insight Bowl in Phoenix on Dec. 27.See the full content of this document
