RIDGEWOOD -- Residents go to the polls Tuesday to vote on a proposed $38.4 million bond to finance upgrades and construction for the district's schools and some athletic fields.

The $48,265,314 project is offset by $9,844,712 in state grants, bringing the bond to be voted on to $38,420,602. If approved, the tax impact for a home assessed at $807,107 -- the village average -- would be $300.55.
