HACKENSACK -- Moody's Investors Service has confirmed Bergen County's AAA bond rating after saying last week that it would reconsider the rating as a result of the debt ceiling crisis, County Executive Kathleen Donovan said Friday in a statement.
Donovan spoke with Moody's representatives Monday after learning of the plan. She said Friday that the rating agency confirmed the AAA rating and has sent a letter, saying it would evaluate the county's credit profile to finalize the rating within 90 days.See the full content of this document
