ENGLEWOOD - Eight New Yorkers have been arrested in connection with an attempt by two of them to pass fake checks at an Engle Street bank, police said.
Stephanie Harry, 20, and Lawrence Francis, 34, were arrested at the Wachovia branch Tuesday after allegedly trying to pass fake checks imprinted with a bank account number belonging to Brickforce, a temporary employment agency in Edison, Detective Lt.
