Despite the graduation of Michelle Smith, Teaneck still returns five seniors from last year's County and sectional champions. Yvonne Hunt leads the sprint team, with Racquel Clarke and Mabel Addai in the middle distances, Raina Warren in the jumps and Jessica Ruffin in the throws. The Highwaywomen also return three-fourths of the All- North Jersey mile relay team.

Senior middle distance runner Jessica Setless is hoping that a strong winter season translates into a big spring for Paramus. But the Spartans need a host of juniors and sophomores to step up in the other events to compete with the likes of Ridgewood in the league and County.

Ridgewood is hoping to repeat last year's start when it won the County Relays and avoid the finish when it lost in the County and sectional meets. The Maroons again boast of tremendous depth, led by senior Cassie Wong, the County record holder in the pole vault, hurdlers Lara-Jane Que and Stephanie Westerman and sprinter Erica Cigolini, who broke the school record for the indoor 200 over the winter.
