HAWORTH A state judge has overturned a decision by the Planning Board to permit the construction of a Syrian Orthodox Church in the borough, saying the house of worship was approved by the wrong municipal body.
Superior Court Judge Jonathan Harris ruled that the church's application should have been voted on by the zoning board, because the Planning Board cannot legally issue the required building code variances.See the full content of this document
