State officials released specifics Monday about a recent agreement with the state's horsemen to cancel thoroughbred racing at The Meadowlands Racetrack in the fall while tripling the purse offerings for thoroughbred races at Monmouth Park in the summer.
Purses at the Oceanport track will average $1 million per day, with no races Wednesday and Thursday.
