PRINCETON - A majestic 150-foot elm that towered over the Princeton Cemetery for centuries and helped other trees resist disease is no more.

Ravaged by old age and Dutch elm disease, the tree - estimated to be more than 200 years old - was cut down Wednesday, leaving a 3 1/ 2-foot-tall stump.
